Bob,
The boxes you sent arrived today. I can only say “WOW”. Even after seeing the pictures, I had no idea of the amount of items you would send our way.
My guys were in awe. Thank you and your organization SO much.
I want to thank you in particular for the cigars and humidor. My
Battalion Commander, the Executive Officer and myself just shared a cigar with one of our company commanders and First Sergeants. They are up from one of our more isolated forward operating bases for some planning and to get some work done on their vehicles, and they greatly appreciated the cigars. I am forwarding your information to the first sergeants of my more isolated units. I hope you are able to support them in the way you have supported us and our BDE HQ.
I also wanted to pass along a few photos. The first attachment is my family. This photo was taken the day I left for Iraq. The second photo was taken yesterday and it is my Battalion Commander, one of our Deputy Provincial Police Chiefs and myself. I’ll forward some more photos to you soon.
