troop letter: I am hoping

November 11, 2009

to really cheer them up alot

I hope things are going great for you all. I must say afganisrtan is very different than Iraq. We are out in the western sector and the interent is a precious thing indeed. Hopefully soon we will get more stuff set up and get a few more computers up and running.  I and the guys wanted to thank you very much for all the support. I took alot of the stuff and I am starting to distrubute it to other Soldiers in some of the other areas we fly to sometimes. I felt bad for them they are living pretty rough and there is not much support for them concerning the little things. So when I gave them a box it seemed to really cheer them up alot and I hope it will brighten there day if only for a little bit. You and your friends have really made out lives out here alot more enjoyable. I talked with some of the people that replaced us in Iraq and one of the packages you sent somehow got directed to them, they did not have much so I told them over the phone to have at it and get themselfs set up a little more comfortable. I think some of the stuff was some coffee makers or something to that effect. I hope you dont mind it really seemed to brighten there spirts as well. I am trying to find a way to burn some of the pics here onto disc so I can send you some over the interent. I am hoping to get this acomplished soon.

Thanks again for all the support
