troop letter: it was like Christmas

Believe me when I say that
these types of things really mean a lot
Thanks so much for the package of goodies that we received from “Support
the Troops” - it was like Christmas around here - you guys really went
above and beyond and we greatly appreciate the movies, cookies, candy,
crackers, drink mixes, books, games, etc. Believe me when I say that
these types of things really mean a lot to all of us in the squadron.
Just knowing that there are people and organizations back home who
haven’t forgotten about us out here and take the time out of their busy
schedules to show their support and appreciation for what we’re doing so
far away from home means the world to us. Americans should be very
proud of what their family and friends are doing over here - they’re
giving 100% effort day in and day out in a very challenging environment
and doing it with unwavering determination. It really has been a
pleasure to serve with these great Americans. Thanks again for what you
are doing to support us out here - much appreciated - God Bless.
