Sir,
Keep up the good work and thanks for all you are doing. I’m actually heading over the pond in a couple of days and wanted to make sure you know that the troops appreciate all that you are doing.
I am a transplant into the Air Force, having enlisted in the Marine Corps back in 1990. It is because of you and other Vietnam Veterans that from day one there was always support for the troops, no matter the mission/war. Every time a veteran thanks me for my service I always make sure they know that because of their efforts, past and present, I will never experience the misconduct of many Americans towards veterans in past wars. It is because you aren’t letting it be alright to disrespect soldiers.
