troop letter: Thanks again Bob

Aloha Bob,

Thanks for the response. We would not have been able to make the sacrifices we do today without those who went so gallantly before us. Like you, sir. My hat’s off to you. Tis a shame that we are generations apart and still having to fight and pay the price for the same freedoms so many have given the ultimate for. I suppose it will always be that way. My son has stepped up and taken the path of the military too. He joined the AF the last time I was out (last year) and has made me a very proud father.

I don’t believe the hype on television anyway. Most networks are owned by the political beings that push what they want out anyway. I talk to the Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines that actually come from the fight and most have good things to say about what they are accomplishing out there. I have served proudly and WILL always remember what all have done to support our men and women of the Armed Forces AND those that stand strong behind them (you) to make things better each step of the way.

Our Thanksgiving is set and we will be enjoying it with some folks that lead us in our fight for what we all believe in.

Thanks again Bob. Peace to you and your family. Have some homemade sweet potato pie for me!
