troop letter: The past
July 29, 2010
But more importantly, it is important to know that we have the
support of those who we are truly protecting and defending
Bob, my unit is conducting our turn over with our reliefs and will be
leaving in the next couple of weeks. I wanted to take the time to thank
you for all that you have done for us while we were deployed. The past
eight months were challenging but made all the more easier through your
efforts to maintain our morale. The myriad of goddies you sent us
always brought a smile to the warriors of Task Group 56.5. Not only
were the items nice to have, many were essential as we can not get them
here. But more importantly, it is important to know that we have the
support of those who we are truly protecting and defending - the
citizens of the United States. And for all of their efforts (and
especially yours) we can never thank you enough. We all send you a
hearty Bravo Zulu for a job well done. I wish you, your family, friends
and all your contributors all the best. Again, from all of us - THANK
YOU!
Be well,
Don
