troop letter: your care packages

I will be leaving Afghanistan in a few days
Bob,
I will be leaving Afghanistan in a few days and felt I needed to thank
you one more time before leaving. I appreciate all you did for me and
the troops I work with. After I would receive your care packages I would
give the Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen, USAID and Department of
State civilians working in my office an opportunity to take whatever
they wanted. If the items you send were not gone within two to three
days I would then take whatever was left to the CJTF-82 Chaplains office
for general distribution. Nothing was wasted that I am aware of. Even
most of the boxes were recycled for mailing stuff home. Thank you for
all you have done.
